I have been working as a Lead Teacher at Bishop State Preschool since 2024-2025 school year. I graduated with a B.S. in Child Development from the University of California, Davis. I worked as a Teacher and Site Supervisor at a preschool/K-6 afterschool program in Northern California for 16 years before taking time off to care for my family.

I moved to Bishop in 2022 and joined the team at ICOE. I love working with children and their families. I believe that preschool is the best time for children to develop their confidence, social-emotional abilities, and early academic skills through playing in a warm and supportive environment.

I enjoy attempting various artistic hobbies, love reading and will pet any animal within reach.

A portrait of a woman smilingI joined the ICOE in 2022 as an Instructional Aide at Bishop State Preschool. I hold an Associate Teacher permit and am currently working towards getting a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.

I believe that children learn best through hands-on experiences which helps promote their social and emotional development. 

I am a mother to a beautiful boy and we enjoy going on walks, riding bikes, and exploring our backyard.
